9. Certain Fruits
Like fructose-bearing drinks, some fruits activate higher production of uric acid. Dates, prunes, lychees, plums, and pears are on the set of fruits to avoid. But, experts suggest that, as with high-purine vegetables, many individuals vulnerable to gout may swallow them as long as they take care to avoid other purine- and fructose-rich foods on exactly the same day. Should they do seem to cause an issue, it is best to avoid these fruits later on.
